Feldenkrais MethodThe Feldenkrais Method is a mental and physical improvement system that promotes natural, efficient and pleasurable ways of moving mind and body. It is an advanced approach to well-being that harnesses the brain’s innate capacity to re-organize itself.
The particular way we are “organized”— to sit, stand, walk, run or speak in public—reflects our inner state or self-image. Human beings acquire subtle and sometimes damaging physical and mental habits, which can become deeply ingrained. Some habits are useful – many are not. The method encourages change and transformation. It fosters the awareness we need to alter the habits that hinder us and live more satisfying lives.
