Feldenkrais Movement Classes                  
Improve your coordination, posture and balance while enjoying relief from discomfort and stress. These classes examine practical ways to incorporate effortless and efficient movement into daily life to prevent tension and injuries. They foster the awareness we need to alter the habits that hinder us and live more satisfying lives.

Pain-free hip joints

With 26 bones, 33 joints and more than a hundred muscles, tendons, and ligaments in each foot, our feet build the foundation for the rest of our body. If you can’t trust the support of your feet and ankles, your neck and shoulders won’t be free of tension, anxiety may be difficult to keep in check and your balance will remain unreliable, setting you up for falls and injury.

In this workshop, you'll:

• uncover the latest secrets to effortless standing, walking, running and dancing

• discover how poorly organized feet contribute to pain and discomfort in the hips, knees, lower back, and neck
• explore strategies to counter pain and stiffness

• improve your balance

• learn to trust your feet

Tackling tight jaw 
Tue. Oct 1 - 29, 7pm - 8pm   $157.50         Register

If you have headaches for no apparent reasons, pain or discomfort in your jaw joint, neck and shoulder or upper back pain, grind your teeth or clench your jaw, this 5-week in-depth series is for you.

We'll focus on simple, yet very powerful self-care practices that will help you improve your jaw functioning.

• Gain solid a understanding of how your jaw problems involve your total body and nervous system.
• Learn to identify TMJ triggers
• Acquire basic understanding of the role of the Vagus nerve in TMJ (and what to do about it!)
• Begin to recognize detrimental habits and stress patterns
• Reduce or eliminate associated symptoms and pain
